An attractive Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Day air mail cover flown via Qantas from Norfolk Island to Great Britain. Franked with Norfolk Island Scott #12, the 2 shilling View of Ball Bay stamp from 1947 which is tied to the cover by a special Norfolk Island Coronation Day postmark dated June 2, 1953. On the reverse is a London, F.S. machine Long Live the Queen slogan cancel dated June 8, 1953. This cover measures 164mm x 93mm. See scans for condition – wear top of cover.
